About this adventure
Applewood Valley United Methodist Church hosts a free Sunday-afternoon trunk-or-treat in Golden, and the invitation is for spooks and spirits of all kinds. Beyond decorated trunks handing out candy, the church sets up a bouncy house and serves cotton candy, so younger children have something to do between treat stops. It is an easy two-hour drop-in for families with toddlers and grade-schoolers who want a daytime Halloween outing a week before the 31st. Come in costume and bring a bag for candy.
