About this adventure
A free trunk-or-treat in the church parking lot in Golden, offered as a safe, low-hassle alternative to going door to door. Church members decorate their vehicles in creative themes and children walk from trunk to trunk in costume, filling their bags with candy. It suits toddlers through elementary-age kids who want a short, contained trick-or-treat route close to their grown-ups, and it runs for two hours on the Saturday before Halloween, so families can drop in at any point. Bring a treat bag and dress for an October evening outdoors in the foothills.
