Berkley's volunteer- and donation-powered Holiday Lights Parade travels down 12 Mile Road and ends at City Hall, where the city's annual Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place. The afternoon includes a petting zoo, a warming station and s'mores stations. The parade is free. The Berkley Holiday Parade Committee says the parade is held on the first Saturday of December and its site shows a countdown to December 5, 2026 at 5:30pm; the City of Berkley's calendar lists the parade on Sunday, Dec 6 at 5:30 PM.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Date conflict: parade committee site says 'December 5, 2026 at 5:30pm' (first Saturday of December) with a 'Countdown Expired!' label, while the city calendar shows 'Sun Dec 06 5:30 PM' with no year. Confirm before publishing.
