Macomb Township Parks and Recreation's annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony begins outside the Recreation Center with caroling, a greeting from township officials and the arrival of Santa, and concludes with the lighting of the tree. Afterward, families are invited inside the recreation center for the After Glow with visits with Santa, refreshment stations, children's crafts and activities and 'carol-o-ke' entertainment. The event is free. Toy drop boxes for the Macomb Charitable Foundation are at the Recreation Center and the township fire stations.
