Livonia Parks and Recreation's Candy-Go-Round sets up a free round of trick-or-treating in the south parking lot of the Kirksey Recreation Center on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children make the rounds of booths handing out candy, and the city says this year it hopes to add even more booths. The event is best for ages 2 to 12. It is free, but pre-registration is required through Livonia's online recreation portal; the same link is used by groups and businesses that want to host a candy booth, with hosting guidelines posted there. A compact daytime event like this can suit toddlers and preschoolers who are not ready for a full evening of door-to-door trick-or-treating.
