Two Halloween in the D listings share one address on Saturday, October 31, 2026: the Detroit Police 2nd Precinct holds its trunk-or-treat at the Adams Butzel Complex, 10500 Lyndon, and the Adams/Butzel recreation center runs its own Halloween celebration there, both from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Children in costume can collect candy from decorated trunks, and the city says its recreation-center parties feature activities such as haunted houses, carnival games, face painting and DJs. The city asks families to contact the center for exact activity times; the number listed for Adams/Butzel is (313) 628-0990. Like every Halloween in the D site, it is free.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
All Halloween in the D sites are listed on one City of Detroit page (curl, read 2026-10-21); 'free' comes from the program text ('safe, fun, and free experiences'). The page's sign-up link is for volunteers and participating partners; no family registration is mentioned. Merges two lines of the page at the same address: the 2nd Precinct trunk-or-treat and the Adams/Butzel recreation center (4–6:30 pm, (313) 628-0990). ZIP not printed.
