Butzel Family Center, 7737 Kercheval, hosts a Halloween in the D celebration on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. The city says the recreation centers taking part will have haunted houses, carnival games, face painting and DJs among their activities, and that families should contact their center for exact times. Because the city page shows two different phone numbers for Butzel Family, confirm details through Detroit Parks and Recreation. Like all Halloween in the D events, the party is free and aimed at Detroit children and families celebrating close to home.
