About this adventure
The Alley Theatre's A Christmas Carol, billed as Houston's holiday tradition, returns downtown for a six-week run from mid-November until just after Christmas. The stage version of Charles Dickens' story follows the miser Ebenezer Scrooge through a Christmas Eve visit from the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come, and many Houston families make it an annual outing with school-age children. Ghost scenes can be intense for very young or sensitive kids, so it is best for children who can follow a full-length play. Performance times and prices are listed only in the theatre's ticketing pages; buy through the Alley's official box office.
