Missouri City Branch Library throws an evening Halloween party on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. Families play games, make arts and crafts and compete in a costume contest for prizes, and the library suggests a bookish twist: come dressed as a character from a favorite book, or surprise staff with something creative. The event is listed for every age group from infants to adults, making it a good fit for siblings of different ages, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Missouri City Branch Library. On the same evening the branch also runs a separate Halloween escape room program.
