About this adventure
A kids' countdown to noon at the Rosenberg Railroad Museum, so young children can ring in 2027 without a late bedtime. Families make New Year's crafts during the morning, a countdown music party starts at 11:45 a.m., and the stroke of twelve is marked with a flower-confetti celebration, snacks and a New Year's toast. Staff also share the railroad story of the 'Day of Two Noons' as a bit of history to go with the party. Activities are included with regular museum admission, and the museum closes early at 1 p.m. that day, so plan to arrive mid-morning to see the exhibits as well.
