About this adventure

Kemah Boardwalk rings in 2027 with a free, family-timed celebration that does not require staying up until midnight. From 2 to 6 PM there is a kids' craft corner, a DJ and a mirror-man stiltwalker, and at 4:59 PM children count down to a New Year's 'bubble drop' of their own. Live music runs through the afternoon and evening, and the night ends with a fireworks show over Galveston Bay at 9:30 PM. Live music, entertainment and fireworks are free to the public; rides, food and the separate dinner cruise are paid. Good for toddlers to teens; bring jackets for the waterfront.
