About this adventure
Operation Elf turns the museum into a holiday workshop for one Saturday in December. Children arrive as elves-in-training, get an official elf hat and badge, and work through hands-on stations making handmade gifts for family and friends, wrapping them, and writing a card or North Pole message. Between stations there are polar-themed sensory bins, hot cocoa, live music from the Lone Star Strummers and Le Theatre's 'Peppermint Twist' marionette shows at 10:30 and 12:30. The day ends with a visit to Santa. The museum is open only for this ticketed event, and members pay the same as non-members.
