Moody Gardens runs single-day Pyramid Kids Camps for children ages 6 to 12 on days when school is out. Each day runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is sold individually, so families can book only the dates they need. Campers spend part of the day in the attractions with staff and the rest in a classroom with hands-on STEAM activities, ambassador animal presentations, games, crafts and experiments. Planned visits rotate between the Aquarium Pyramid, Rainforest Pyramid and Discovery Museum, and ICE LAND is included on holiday-season days. Camp is $60 per day or $50 with Moody Gardens membership; an optional T-shirt is $18. Before care (8–9 a.m.) and after care (5–6 p.m.) cost extra and must be reserved ahead.
