Single-day camps at the Dow Active Complex for school holidays, run by Deer Park Parks & Recreation from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Each camp day mixes games and arts and crafts with a field trip: Main Event on Monday, October 26; the Houston Museum of Natural Science on Friday, November 13; and Cidercade on Friday, December 18. Lunch is included, but campers need two snacks and a refillable water bottle. The city pitches it for days when there is no school; the calendar does not publish an age range. Fees are $50 for Deer Park residents and $60 for non-residents per camp day; contact the DAC at 281-478-2068.
