About this adventure
Butler University's Butler Ballet stages its holiday-tradition Nutcracker at Clowes Memorial Hall, billed as Indianapolis' premiere production of the ballet. The full-length staging features student dancers in elaborate costumes and scenery, stage pyrotechnics and the return of Mother Ginger and her whimsical Polichinelles. Tchaikovsky's score is played live by the Butler Ballet Orchestra with the Indianapolis Children's Choir, under the direction of Richard Auldon Clark. Six performances run Thursday through Sunday, with matinee and evening shows on the weekend. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.
