About this adventure
Conner Prairie's October festival closes this weekend with its last two nights. The grounds mix fall traditions with a carnival theme: a Barrel Train ride through a musical pumpkin patch for riders under 48 inches, the Perilous Plunge dry tubing hill, carnival games, Circle City Fire's fire art, the Eerie Illusions magic show and a Sleepy Hollow marionette show, plus live music. Older kids and teens can take the separately ticketed Hayride through the woods, where the legend of the Headless Horseman is acted out with frights, and the Haunted Trail scary maze (its availability was listed as to be determined). Food stands sell burgers, pizza, pretzels and kettle corn. It is a limited-capacity, timed festival; members must reserve their free tickets, and ticket sales end at 9 p.m.
