About this adventure

The Runaway Strings is about a quartet of string instruments who run away in search of adventures to bring home to their audience. The ISO's Teddy Bear Concert Series is made for children ages 3 to 7: a narrator and a small group of Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra musicians tell one of the series' original picture-book stories, written by retired ISO violinist Victoria Kintner Griswold, and introduce real orchestra instruments along the way. During the 30-minute program children move to the music, interact with the players and get a chance to try a real violin. Stuffed animals are welcome, the concerts are free and open to the public, and this one needs no registration. Teddy Bear books are sold at each performance.
