About this adventure

The Indiana State Museum and Witherspoon Presbyterian Church host a daylong Kwanzaa celebration on the theme 'Webbed and Wired: Celebrating the Interconnectedness of Culture and Community.' Families can watch African drumming and dance, shop local and international vendors, make arts and crafts, join children's activities and listen to storytelling, all built around the idea of building community one thread at a time. The festival falls during the museum's Celebration Crossing holiday season, so kids can also ride the Snowfall Express and explore the winter displays the same day. It is included with museum admission (members free), with $4 parking validation.
