Museum My Way is The Children's Museum's adaptive evening for visitors with disabilities and sensory sensitivities, and their families and groups. After the museum closes to the public at 5 p.m., a limited-capacity crowd explores selected galleries, including Dinosphere, All Aboard, National Geographic Treasures of the Earth and Beyond Spaceship Earth, with some music turned down or off, edited lighting effects and a quiet area stocked with sensory items. The December session includes a visit from Santa (Santa Larry), so children who find the regular Santa line overwhelming can meet him in a calmer setting. The Museum Store and a limited Food Court are open, and families may bring their own food to eat in the Food Court seating. Tickets are required and go on sale Nov. 9, 2026; registration closes when capacity is reached.
