About this adventure

A preschool nature hour at McCloud Nature Park all about turkeys, just ahead of Thanksgiving. Children ages 2 to 5 come with a parent or guardian to hear a story, make a turkey craft and go on a short hike to see the kinds of places wild turkeys live; older siblings ages 6 and 7 may register too. If the weather is poor the hike is swapped for another activity. The program lasts about an hour, costs $5 per child and requires advance registration through the parks' RecDesk system.
