About this adventure

On eight Tuesday and Wednesday evenings of Winterlights, its 10th season at Newfields, Santa walks the Twinkling Trail from 5 to 8 p.m., stopping for festive hellos and photos, while carolers sing holiday classics: the Freetown Village Singers on Tuesdays and At Your Door Productions on Wednesdays. Winterlights is an outdoor walking route of nearly two million lights through The Garden at Newfields on an accessible path; most visitors spend about 90 minutes, and the first floor of the decorated Lilly House is included. Strollers, small wagons and wheelchairs are allowed on the path, though strollers are parked outside Lilly House. Kids five and under are free, the event runs rain or shine, and advance timed tickets are required. Free parking is at the Michigan Road entrance.
