About this adventure
Indianapolis's big Thanksgiving-morning walk/run returns to Broad Ripple for its 24th year, raising money for Wheeler Mission's work with people experiencing homelessness. Families choose between the 4.3-mile Full Gobbler and the 2.6-mile Mini Gobbler, and either can be walked, so it works for strollers, school-age kids and grandparents together; many runners come in costume. Everything starts at 9 a.m. at 1115 Broad Ripple Ave., and the event window runs until 12:30 p.m. Children register at reduced rates by age, and a virtual option lets out-of-town relatives take part. Registration prices go up after Nov. 11, 2026, and packet pickup is held at an expo beforehand (see the race's Expo page).
