About this adventure

Traders Point Creamery is a working organic dairy farm in Zionsville with 100% grass-fed cows. Families can take the self-guided farm walk, a 1.5-mile hiking trail through the pastures and along Eagle Creek, where they may spot the herd, native Indiana plants and wildlife such as deer, hawks, great blue herons and the occasional bald eagle, and pass a 300-year-old bur oak. Check in at the Farm Store for a pass; reservations are not needed. Because the farm practices rotational grazing, close access to the cows is not guaranteed. Tuesday to Saturday at 6:30 pm visitors can watch the evening milking; the farm store points the way to the milk parlor. The farm also has a farm store, a dairy bar and The Loft restaurant. Guided group tours (12 or more, $16 with ice cream) and intimate guided tours run April–October only.
