About this adventure
A Baymeadows art studio, the first location of the Children's Art Classes program (opened in Jacksonville in 2009), offering a skill-based, nine-month weekly art course for children 3 and up. Students are grouped by age: Tiny Hands (3–4), Introduction to Art (5–6) and Beginning Art (7–8) are two-year programs covering drawing, painting, clay, printmaking, collage and design, and Art 1 (9 and up) through Advanced Art build a portfolio across more than 40 techniques, including sculpture and ceramics, without repeating a project year to year. The studio also runs a homeschool curriculum, one-off art workshops (such as a Witchy Hat Clay Party on Oct. 24) and an end-of-year art show.
