About this adventure
A Thanksgiving-morning 5K and 1-mile fun run on the beach road at Mickler's Landing Beachfront Park in Ponte Vedra Beach. Kids and adults in each distance run at the same time from 8:30 am, and all finishers get a medal and a free downloadable finish photo; paid entrants also get a race shirt. The first 50 children 10 and under to sign up run the 5K or the 1 mile free; after those spots fill, kids register for the regular events. There is no race-day registration, so sign up online beforehand; packet pickup is at Mickler's Landing the afternoon before (Wednesday, 4-6 pm). Teams of four or more can compete for the best average time, and the top overall man and woman win pumpkin pies.
