About this adventure
An hour-long outdoor class for toddlers and one adult, about half of it free-choice nature play at activity stations, with songs, a featured picture book and a close-up visit from one of the zoo's animal ambassadors. The fall 2026 semester theme is Animals at the Zoo; the remaining weeks are Trunk or Treat (Oct 27–28, featuring an elephant hide-and-seek book) and Oh, the Hu-Manatee! (Nov 10–11). Classes meet at Education Estates at the south end of the zoo's main parking lot, run rain or shine (moving indoors in extreme weather) and are limited to twelve children; registration closes at 8 a.m. the Saturday before.
