The Super Girl Surf Festival, now in its 20th anniversary year, brings all-women's surf competitions to the Jacksonville Beach oceanfront along with festival activities at Latham Plaza and the Seawalk Pavilion. ASA Entertainment's Super Girl series showcases women's and girls' sports, with competitions and mentorship across surfing and other sports such as skateboarding and beach volleyball, plus music and lifestyle programming. It is free to attend and billed as family-focused, which makes it a good outing for girls who surf, skate or play sports and want to watch older athletes compete. The festival runs across two days; competitors register through the organizer's site.
