About this adventure

Children make holiday ornaments, decorations, and small gifts at the Elf Factory inside the Excelsior Springs Community Center on the Saturday of the downtown Christmas kickoff. Helpers the page calls elves walk kids through glitter, ribbon, and other supplies. Crafts are priced from 50 cents to $4.50, so a child can make more than one item, and the page says the projects suit different ages and skill levels rather than one grade. It runs 10 am to 3 pm. A photo section on the page is labeled 2025 Elf Factory crafts, so the exact 2026 project list is not published. Families do not need a community-center membership for this; the event page does not mention one. Volunteers sign up on a separate form, which is not a family reservation.
