Nighttime lantern festival at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium with a mile-long one-way path of lighted sculptures themed on shipwrecks, buried treasure, expedition camps and jungle landscapes, created with LEKTRIK ART. Extras include free Endangered Species Carousel rides, the KCZoo Railroad with Halloween-themed lanterns through October 31, Autumn Fest games in September–October, and Sobela Ocean Aquarium access on Wednesday nights. Allow about 60 minutes. Cashless event; held rain or shine.
