Sahara West Library invites the whole family to an evening screening of the holiday comedy 'Elf' (rated PG), with free snacks and drinks provided. In the film, a man raised by Santa's elves travels from the North Pole to New York City to find his biological father, who is badly in need of some Christmas spirit. The two-hour program starts at 6 pm in the branch's multipurpose room, making it an easy weeknight holiday outing for school-age kids, tweens and teens with their parents. No registration is listed; arrive early for a seat.
