About this adventure
A Noise Within's staging of A Christmas Carol, which the theater calls the region's longest-running holiday tradition, returns to its Pasadena stage for the 2026 season with reimagined scenic design and live music. The classic story follows Ebenezer Scrooge through the visits of three spirits on Christmas Eve. The theater bills it as perfect for all ages, but its age policy is firm: children must be 5 or older, and babies and toddlers are not admitted. Families with specific needs have several special performances to choose from: a Relaxed Performance on Sunday, November 29 at 11 a.m. for audiences with autism, sensory sensitivities or developmental differences; a Pay What You Choose performance on Thursday, December 3 at 7 p.m. ($10 or $20, sold from the Monday before or at the box office after 2 p.m. that day); a Teen Night for ages 13–19 on December 5 with a pre-show event with the Teen Leadership Council; and GalaPro closed-captioned shows on December 19 and 20 at 2 p.m.
