About this adventure
The touring Broadway production of Elf The Musical plays the Hollywood Pantages Theatre for two weeks in December. Based on the film, it follows Buddy, a human raised by elves at the North Pole, who heads to New York City to find his father and ends up reminding everyone what the holiday spirit is about, with big song-and-dance numbers. The show runs 2 hours and 30 minutes including an intermission. The Pantages enforces a firm age policy: everyone must be 5 or older to enter, every person needs a ticket regardless of age, and children and teens under 14 must have an adult chaperone. For school-age kids, the 1 p.m. weekend matinees on December 5, 6, 12 and 13 are the easiest fit; evening shows start at 7:30 p.m. (6:30 p.m. on Sundays). Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster via Broadway in Hollywood.
