The first Winnie-the-Pooh book turns 100 this year—the same age as the Los Angeles Central Library—and the Children's Literature Department celebrates both with Pooh stories, songs and a craft. The hour-long program is intended for ages 3 and up and runs 2 to 3 pm on Saturday, October 17, as part of the library's Central 100 centennial series. Questions go to children@lapl.org; disability accommodations can be requested at (213) 228-7430 five business days ahead.
