Organizer

The Rinks – Anaheim ICE

Anaheim ICE's annual holiday recital fills the rink's NHL-size sheet with Learn to Skate and Skating Academy students performing to holiday music, from first-time performers to more experienced skaters, in solos, duets, trios, synchronized teams and ensemble numbers. There are no judges, scores or rankings — the point is to perform and celebrate the season — which makes it a relaxed show for families to watch. Admission is free for spectators, and the rink encourages skaters to bring family and friends to cheer them on. The recital runs from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm on Sunday, December 13, so audiences can come for part of the day to see a particular skater or catch a few numbers. Children who want to take part must be current Anaheim ICE Learn to Skate or Skating Academy students and register by Sunday, November 8; space is limited, each performer needs a private-lesson coach to prepare music, choreography and costume, and registration fees apply per skater or group.
