Great Park Ice's 2026 holiday show, A Holiday Nightmare on Ice, puts the rink's figure skaters in the spotlight at FivePoint Arena in Irvine. The show mixes group numbers, in which skaters perform in costume with others at their level, with soloists chosen by audition from skaters who have competed at sectional or national level, plus star skater performances, and the organizers bill it as fun for the whole family. The performance is on Sunday, December 6, from 5 to 7 pm, after a dress rehearsal the day before. Learn to Skate students take part alongside more advanced skaters, so it is a good show for children who skate or are thinking about lessons. Skaters of any level could register to take part if they hold a U.S. Figure Skating or Learn to Skate USA membership. The show page is written for participants and does not say whether spectators need tickets, so check with Great Park Ice at (949) 774-1600 before you go.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Show date and time from the 2026 Holiday Show page; Sunday, December 6, 2026 checks out. The same page's registration dates ('Tuesday, September 12th') do not match 2026 weekdays and look like leftover text, but they concern skater sign-up only. Spectator tickets are not described. The heading says 'A Holiday Nightmare on Ice' and the body 'A Nightmare Holiday on Ice'.
