Kidspace Children's Museum in Pasadena celebrates Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with a day of music, art and dance. At the center is a community ofrenda (altar) where families can share memories of people and pets who have enriched their lives; children can make a postcard in memory of a loved one and add it to the ofrenda or take it home. The Aztec dance group Xiantecatl performs at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., including a blessing of the altar. Casa Tacos sells food on site. The celebration is included with regular Kidspace admission, so families can combine it with the museum's indoor and outdoor play areas. Tickets are booked through the museum's ticketing page.
