About this adventure
Crystal Cove Conservancy's Family Holiday Plein Air Art Workshop is a festive outdoor painting class for children and their parents at Crystal Cove State Park. Working en plein air — painting outside from life — families paint the park's iconic holiday tree and the ocean horizon together, guided by an art instructor. There are two sessions to choose from on Saturday, December 12: 9 to 11:30 a.m. or noon to 2:30 p.m., each about two and a half hours, so it suits school-age children who can stay focused on a painting. The Conservancy notes that the schedule may change because of weather. Fees, age guidance and registration details are not printed on the event page; contact the Conservancy at 949.376.6200 or info@crystalcove.org to reserve.
