Winnetka Recreation Center's Friday-night Halloween party in the West Valley adds a petting zoo to the usual fun. Kids can meet the animals, jump in the bounce house, play games, make crafts and get their faces painted, with music, a costume contest and a haunted house for braver visitors. It runs 5 to 9 pm on October 30 for all ages and is free.
