Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia runs Holiday in the Park on select days through the winter holidays, adding Christmas light displays, live holiday shows and a tree lighting ceremony (Magic of the Holidays) with dancers, singers and a giant tree at the start of the evening. Families can visit Santa, ride kid-friendly attractions such as Road Runner Express that stay open for the season, make crafts and decorate cookies, and warm up at s'mores fire pits; cookie decorating and fire pits cost extra. Live shows, light displays, select activities and most rides are included with park admission, while food, drinks and some holiday experiences are separate purchases. The park is mostly known for thrill rides, so this is best for families with school-age kids and teens; check the Six Flags app or park calendar for operating days and showtimes before going.
