About this adventure
New for the 2026 season, Swiss Winter Village is a Zurich-style Christmas market on the Event Deck of the Santa Monica Pier, run by the organizers of several Swiss Christmas markets. More than 60 wooden chalets sell crafts, gifts and seasonal food, and the village has an outdoor ice rink with ocean views, a vintage merry-go-round, a children's corner, storytelling, face painting, creative workshops, stilt walkers and concerts. Santa takes portraits in an alpine chalet from November 27 to December 20, Thursday to Sunday, 1–7 p.m., during your village session with no separate reservation. Entry is by timed ticket bundle: the basic 'Skate & Go' bundle (entrance plus ice rink) starts at $20.90, a family-discount version starts at $18.90 per person, and upgraded bundles add Pacific Park rides and line skipping. All ages are welcome and children under 3 enter free. Open Monday–Wednesday 11 a.m.–9 p.m. and Thursday–Sunday 11 a.m.–10 p.m., with short hours on Christmas Eve and late hours on New Year's Eve.
