St. Andrews Recreation Center in South Los Angeles runs a two-night Halloween. On Thursday October 29 the haunted house is open 6 to 9 pm; on Friday October 30 the haunted house is joined by a carnival from 6 to 10 pm with music, games, prizes, face painting, food, entertainment, community information tables and a Trick-or-Treat Lane for younger children. Entry to the haunted house costs $1 for ages 2 and up; all other activities are free.
