The Pennyroyal Players return to the Banning Museum's historic barn in Wilmington with a 50-minute musical romp through the American Revolution, marking the nation's 250th anniversary. Using original songs, stories, letters and humor, and the voices of women and colonists who lived through it, the show moves from the first shot of the war through the Declaration of Independence and victory to the Treaty of Paris. It is a lively way for school-age children studying U.S. history to hear the story told aloud. Admission is $5 (free for Friends of Banning Museum members); reserve a seat online. Parking is on the street.
