Bonnet House, the historic estate on Fort Lauderdale's barrier island, throws a daytime Halloween party on October 31 from 11 am to 4 pm. Families (and pets) come in costume for a live DJ, a costume runway for pets, adults and children with prizes, face painting, snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn, and food trucks. It is billed as family-friendly fun for all ages in the estate's gardens. Admission: adults $25, children 6–17 $8, children 5 and under free. Register ahead through the museum's link.
