Once a month on a Sunday, the Children's Science Explorium sells hands-on science craft kits that children build on the spot and take home, learning a new science idea along the way. Themes in this window: Veggie Stamp Tote Bags (November 1), Bug Eyes (December 6) and Soap Fossils (January 3, 2027). Sales start promptly at 11:30 am; each project takes about 30 minutes and the program runs about an hour or until supplies run out. Ages 5 and up. $5 per project, no pre-registration.
