About this adventure
A pet-themed weekend at Miami Children's Museum on Watson Island, run with Miami-Dade Animal Services. Children build enrichment toys for cats and dogs, meet adoptable pets brought in by the county shelter, and join two special storytimes: Chris Baumann reads his book Alyxander: Defender of Humanity on Saturday, and authors Susan Rose and Silvia López read José and El Perro Feliz on Sunday. Activities run during regular museum hours (the museum is open daily 10 a.m.–6 p.m.).
