Silent Night at Christmas Wonderland is a calmer version of the Tropical Park holiday park for guests with sensory sensitivities, or anyone who prefers a gentler holiday night. On three Wednesdays this season (Nov 18, Dec 2 and Dec 9) the park turns down the music, lights and sound effects from opening at 5 PM until 7 PM, so families can ride the rides and visit the photo spots at a quieter pace. The organizers bill the Dec 9 date as the last of three sensory-friendly evenings this season. Admission is a regular Christmas Wonderland ticket, which includes unlimited rides; the Wednesday online bundle (Wonder Wednesday) applies. After 7 PM the park returns to its usual lights and sound. Most rides have a 36-inch minimum height, and photos with Santa, games and food cost extra.
