About this adventure
Christmas Wonderland fills more than 14 acres of Tropical Park with a nightly holiday park: seven themed lands strung along a lit 'Tinsel Trail', hundreds of decorated photo spots, a Bavarian-style Christmas market around a big tree, and unlimited carnival rides included with admission, among them the 230-foot America 250 Wheel. For 2026 the organizers add Duck Discovery, a hunt for 24 collectible ducks hidden around the park that is free for kids 12 and under, and 'SEF: Memory Lane', with some original displays and photo spots from Santa's Enchanted Forest, the South Florida Christmas tradition. Kids get kid-sized rides and visits with Santa; note that most rides have a 36-inch minimum height, and photos with Santa, games, food and merchandise cost extra. It is an evening outing: the park opens at 5 PM (4 PM on Sundays) and stays open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Parking is free, with a trolley from the lots to the entrance. Bags must be 12 by 12 inches or smaller, there is no outside food, and wagons are allowed only when used as strollers.
