About this adventure

Hialeah opens its holiday season with the annual Triangle Tree Lighting Ceremony at Veterans Park, the Palm Avenue park the city also calls Triangle Park, which is transformed into a winter wonderland with more than 20,000 lights. The evening brings food and live entertainment, and children can meet and take photos with Rudolph the Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman while they wait for the guests of honor: Santa and Mrs. Claus, who arrive aboard one of the City of Hialeah's own fire trucks. The park itself is an open green space around the Hialeah War Memorial wall and the sculpture El Precio de La Libertad. The city's page does not give a start time or say whether the event is free, so check with the Parks & Community Engagement line before you go.
