About this adventure
Cooking classes for little kids at an accessible nonprofit teaching kitchen in Cedarburg. Happy Helpers is a 60-minute drop-off class for ages 3–6 in which preschoolers become real kitchen helpers: each week they mix, stir, spread, scoop, pour and measure, practicing listening, sequencing, counting and fine motor skills, and are gently encouraged to try new foods with a no-pressure approach. Parents can watch through a viewing window. This winter the kitchen also runs a monthly grown-up & me baking series on Tuesday mornings, baking something simple and seasonal together over coffee and tea; children attend free with a paid adult. Classes are open to children of all abilities, and Happy Place is a Children's Long Term Support (CLTS) Waiver provider.
