About this adventure
The museum sets up an authentic traditional ofrenda, the temporary altar families build for Día de los Muertos, with information about the pre-Hispanic roots of the holiday that honors loved ones who have died. It is a quiet, look-and-learn stop that helps children understand the marigolds, photos and offerings they may see at Day of the Dead celebrations around the city. Included with museum admission.
